Where to Get A Schnoodle

Many factors affect the price of Schnoodle puppies for sale and the price may further increase as designer hybrids become more popular (low supply-high demand). This often varies by the area you live in.

The most common factors often have to do with the puppy's parents; for example, whether they were pure bred, registered with any of numerous canine registries, or won awards at dog shows. The % of inheritance plays a large role as some owners may want, say..75% Schnauzer 25% Poodle, whereas others may want the opposite.

Health guarantees, training, specific unique coloring or sizes (such as a Miniature or Toy Schnoodle puppy) often cost the breeders time and money so these factors will definitely affect your price. Finally, the age of the dog will play a role as, often times, adult dogs cost less than puppies. Occasionally, some owners insist on having the puppies released before the breeder recommends, and this also increases the price.

The total cost of a member of this breed, on average, is $600-$900. You can find Schnoodles for sale much higher from breeders that offer shipping, vaccinations, microchips, certifications, health guarantees, etc. (around $1800). Shipping the puppy to you from another location may be included but will, more likely, add to the final price of your pet by $200-$400.

Schnoodle Price

A Schnoodle is a good match for owners that are active and those that would like a biddable family protector. This breed is energetic, intelligent and alert and allows them to be loyal, protective family members. Ideally, they need a fenced yard but should, at least, not be cooped up all day in a tiny apartment. When looking for Schnoodle puppies for sale bear in mind that they may not be available in your area and that price doesn't necessarily guarantee quality. Do your research and find a breeder with a good reputation that offers health certifications (eye, hip, etc.) and health guarantees. Many owners that aren't overly concerned about the pedigree or age of their pet choose to adopt a Schichon from a rescue organization or individual looking to re-home a pet. Although the process may be time consuming and competitive, the cost will probably be a fraction of purchasing one.

Finding A Free Schnoodle

Finding free Schnoodle puppies isn't likely, but it is possible. You can search classified ads in newspapers or on websites like Craigslist, or visit a local animal shelter. But be advised that many shelter or rescue dogs may be there as a result of abuse or some other type of trauma, which can negatively affect their behavior and require much more time, care and patience; also, not knowing their health background may result in unforeseen medical costs. It is always worth a shot to ask around to your own family and friends, often times someone may know of a pet that needs to be re-homed.
