Doberman Lurcher Dog Breed
The Doberman Lurcher hybrid is a mix of the Doberman Pinscher and the Lurcher and, although there is plenty of information available on the parent breeds, there isn't much available on the hybrid itself, including the date and place of origin. The Doberman Lurcher inherits much of his personality from both parent breeds. The average height for a Doberman Lurcher is 22.4 to 28 inches, and he generally weighs between 57 to 90.2 pounds.

Affectionate, sensitive, active, and at times bossy and quite needy, the typical Doberman Lurcher temperament is one of pure delicacy. A Doberman Lurcher can be very loyal and gentle. Because he is intelligent and eager to please, he will be relatively easy to train and is really a great family dog as well as a great choice for the new dog owner. A Doberman Lurcher is a wonderful family companion.
Though most Doberman Lurcher dogs are fine with other family pets, including the family cat, quite a few Doberman Lurcher are dominant or aggressive toward other dogs of the same sex, and some are cat chasers. Loyal, fun-loving, fearless and affectionate, Doberman Lurcher (sometimes called Doberman Lurcher) bring great joy to their families. They also have the tendency to bark at strangers, but often this is not an aggressive bark. They are not aggressive or territorial and lack natural hunting instincts.
