Affenpug Breed Description

These little dogs are quite energetic and playful, sometimes even clownish in their behavior, and they tend to be naturally friendly and outgoing, however, they do have an intense prey drive, so they can't always be trusted around smaller animals. Because of a high prey drive young children, cats, or small dogs should never be left alone with a high content Affenpug . These two breeds are both small but gentle and loving pets so they make excellent family companions as well as guard dogs due to their loyalty. When these two breeds are combined, the outcome is a dog that is lively, friendly, and very intelligent.

If they are socialized at an early age, they are usually good with other dogs. They have high energy and it's important to keep them well exercised so they do not become destructive. The Affenpug is a friendly breed that is not aggressive. They're not recommended for homes where they'll be left alone for long periods. A Affenpug is sure to be very kid-friendly, and is a great dog for first time dog owners.
