Chin Crested Breed Description

This breed is gentle, obedient, eager to please, calm, and very loyal. If you're seeking a lively canine buddy who is fearless, yet affectionate, the Chin Crested may be the breed for you. They are an attractive dog who is brilliant and has a gentle temperament making it ideal for families as it thrives on human companionship. He is also a beloved family dog.

They enjoy children as well as other pets and they are straightforward to train so the Chin Crested is even good for those who have never had a dog before. When training, you should use positive reinforcement rather than physical discipline so your dog does not become aggressive. They are not aggressive or territorial and lack natural hunting instincts. If left alone for long periods of time, a Chin Crested will find a way to entertain itself (and not always in the most productive manner). A Chin Cresteds good-natured personality makes for a great partner pet for first-time owners and young children.
